We’ll interview you, look at any brochures and documents you have describing your business, then write the text for up to eight pages and put it into the site, along with your pictures, after you have approved everything.

Module Two

Get your site up high on the search engines
Price: $695

There are things you can do to get onto the top page of Google. None of them are secrets. All of them require work.

One of the very best has been publicly recommended by Matt Cutts, the head of web spam at Google and the spokesman when people want to know what they can legitimately do to rise to the top of Google. You can easily work his recommendation into your web site.

What you do is … put a blog on your site.

A blog is a company journal that visitors can read and comment on. So you (or Telford Square) write short journal articles and every week or so publish them in your blog. Visitors read and perhaps leave a comment under an article. You control these comments, so only approved comments are visible in the blog. Slowly this grows and if the subjects you write about are interesting, you will become a well-known site. And Google will pull you right up its rankings. Google loves the links and buzz that good blogs generate.

We’ll build this blog for you so it matches the look and feel of the whole site. And over a period of three months, we’ll write and drip feed in 30 short articles all about your industry.

Google absolutely loves active blogs. We have seen Google find and register new blog articles in minutes. And seen blog articles at the very top of page one of Google within hours. An active little blog on your web site will almost certainly help your site get up high on the search engines.

Module Three

Automatically collect the name and e-mail of your visitors

We operate getmail.co.nz, a powerful little service that runs on auto pilot, gathering and the names and emails of visitors.

This is how it works.

We will set it up on your web site, and every visitor who agrees will give you their name and e-mail. Then the GetMail system will follow up on them, automatically sending a series of brief, personalized emails thanking them for coming and reminding them about your business and how you can help them.

Slowly you will build a long list of people who’ve given you their contact details. People who are familiar with you and your site, and are interested in the services and products you sell.

Whenever you want to you can send every visitor on that list a personalized e-mail. At no cost. You could tell them about a new service in your business, or offer them a special price on one of your services.

This is marketing to one of the most highly targeted groups of customers you can imagine.

Put advertising movies on your web site
